Originating from New Zealand
An evergreen shrub with cheerfully bright green glossy leaves that can be trimmed to form well-defined topiary or left to naturally form a soft mound shape. If planted in groups they can form an undulating low-level foil for more upright, architectural plants. This reliable and adaptable species can look at home in woodland, traditional or contemporary gardens, being a good disease-free alternative to box.
Grow in moist but well-drained soils in sun or part shade.
