A lovely colourful tree for a small garden with a long season of interest. The glossy leaves emerge bronze and turn a deep red/purple. In contrast, the double flowers are produced in pendant clusters of ‘rose pink. In autumn the leaves turn bronze and in winter the bark which peels in bands of copper and red provides yet more beauty and interest.
Grow in moist but well-drained soil in sun/part shade.
