A large shrub or small tree, that is rarely offered and deserves to be seen more in gardens. Bright green leaves that turn a rich gold in autumn, and large, profuse hanging racemes of fragrant white flowers in June and July give a long season of interest.
Grow in fertile, well-drained acid or neutral soil in full sun or part shade. Performs best when sheltered from strong winds.
