Originating from China
A spectacular display of fine white blossom clothes the branches of this vigorous upright tree in spring. Its columnar habit is useful for creating architectural and formal planting schemes where its dense foliage makes a strong outline shape. The foliage has good autumn colour, turning shades of yellow and red before falling.
This is an extremely hardy and easy to grow species succeeding in all soils, in an exposed or sheltered position. It develops a denser crown and flowers better in full sun.
