Originating from China
A handsome and unusual willow with an open, upright habit. It has large, leathery, glossy, dark green leaves up to 18cm long and shiny, mahogany bark. In winter it has bright red buds. A connoisseurs plant, ideal for a small garden.
Grow in deep, moist but well-drained soil in sun. Does not tolerate chalky soil.
