Family Poaceae
Originating from Asia to Australia

Long broad leaves that are pleated and superficially resemble palm leaves, the foliage becomes suffused with red if grown in full sun. Elegant flower spikes that emerge in summer.
Grow in moist but well-drained soil in sun/part shade.
