A rather spectacular shrub with arching branches bearing glossy dark green leaves, and producing abundant panicles of scented tubular purple/pink flowers in summer. If you’re lucky enough to possess a south-facing wall, you should consider this as a serious contender for that coveted spot.
Grow in well-drained soil in sun/part shade in a sheltered position.
