Position:   Chef / Kitchen Manager
Salary:   £18,000.00 to £22,000.00 /year

Description:   We pride ourselves on producing vibrant and eclectic food with regional influences. Our kitchen is strictly gluten free and utilises amazing, organically grown produce that's harvested on site.

We are looking for a passionate person to join our team and take control of the kitchen. You will work closely with the Café and Propagation Managers to create a unique dining experience, driving our business forward and exciting customers with the food you produce. Passion and pride in your work are a must, and you will be rewarded with the ability to fulfill your creative potential.

The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who lives and loves food. You must be forward thinking and be able to handle the pressure of service. An interest in preserving and pickling would be advantageous as we will have gluts of certain harvested items at points throughout the year.

Essential requirements:   1+ years experience cooking in the industry / Culinary school graduate

Food safety level 2 certificate

Good knife and mise en place skills

Interest in baking

Be a team player

Key duties:   Work with the Café and Propagation managers to create new dishes for the menu, using seasonal ingredients grown on site

Be actively involved in what is being grown and harvested on site

Maintain accurate food inventories and keep wastage to a minimum

Order stock and maintain a pre approved GP

Adhere to all in house and regulated food safety procedures
