A deciduous fern that forms an architectural, shuttlecock-like clump of upright fronds that arch at their tips. This distinctive fern has a delicate, airy appearance due to the very narrow and widely spaced, multi-forked pinnae (leaflets).
Grow in moist soil in shade/part shade. Will tolerate a dry soil in full shade, but water well in its first season.
