Description

amily Proteaceae
Originating from Victoria, S. Australia

An outstanding shrub that has a deep pink/red flower throughout winter and into spring lasting many months, bringing cheer to any bleak winter garden. It sailed through the winter of 2022 in an exposed position in our garden at our Beccles Nursery bearing a profuse floral display. Deserving of centre stage positions where it can be seen from the house, it forms a dense, wide spreading plant of silver/green slender evergreen leaves with silver undersides. Thought to be extinct in the wild due to bushfires, it has recently been rediscovered.

Height and spread after 5 – 8 years 1.5m x 2m
