Family Asparagaceae
Originating from USA
Stunning, upright, dense rosettes of beautifully marked variegated leaves make an arresting sight. The leaves’ basic colours of rich green with bold white markings at their margins would be stunning enough. Additionally, the whole leaf is covered in deep maroon spots. As the plant ages, it produces young rosettes (pups) at its base, making a spreading clump with 2m tall flower spikes of green tubular flowers. There are reports that it may withstand frost for short durations, but we recommend placing it on a patio for summer or growing it in a conservatory or greenhouse.
We will do our best to package these as carefully as possible but some leaves may snap in transit.
Height and spread after 5 – 10 years 50cm x 60cm.
