Pittosporum tenuifolium is an evergreen shrub or small tree with dainty cream/green, pink tinted leaves with wavy margins on wiry, almost black stems. A very colourful pittosporum, its pink colouration is evident all year but becomes particularly pronounced in winter. Small, insignificant looking dark purple flowers are borne in summer with a fragrance of honey that waft their scent in the evenings. ‘Elizabeth’ has an upright habit and can easily be trained into a topiary style, cone-shaped tree if desired. Young plants are fast growing, slowing with age.
Pittosporum tenuifolium grow in moist but well-drained soil in sun or part shade.
