Originating from S.E. Asia
A small, weeping cherry tree, ideal as a specimen for a small garden. The new leaves are bronze, ageing to dark green and in spring, and the double flowers are deep pink and produced profusely in dense clusters.
Grow in moist but well-drained soil in full sun.
Height and spread after 3 – 4 years 1.8m x 1.5
Semi mature height and spread after 8 – 10 years 2.5m x 3.5m
(The height of this tree is dependent on the clear stem, onto which the top growth is grafted, very little height is gained beyond this)
