Originating from Spain, Pyrenees

Deciduous perennial with deeply lobed and silver-veined leaves with vivid blue branched stems bearing cone-like flower-heads with narrow, spiny, usually silvery-blue or violet bracts.
Grow in poor to moderately fertile dry, well-drained soil in full sun. Protect from winter wet.

Mature height and spread after 1 – 2 years 45cm x 50cm
