Outrageously decadent, slender and stylish, this is one of the most extravagantly marked daylilies, with a bold deep golden/green tinted splash at the base of each petal accentuating their elegantly wide flared and recurved slender form. The outer halves of each have a rich burgundy colour, matched at the tips of the golden elegantly upswept stamens. They are borne on tall spikes over a clump of evergreen, dark strap-shaped leaves. Although Individual blooms last only a day there is a long succession of them on each spike, making a long-lasting display. Easy to grow in any soil in full sun or light shade.
