Small evergreen shrub for conservatory or possibly a very sheltered garden, with glossy dark green leaves bearing a mass of highly scented, tubular cream/yellow flowers in spring/summer.
Takes very well to pruning and can be shaped into a neat little tree with a single main trunk and well-spaced branches.
Grow in loam based compost in full light.
To maximise the beauty of this tree it is best trimmed regularly.
Height and spread after 3 – 4 years 1.8m x 1.5m
Semi mature height and spread after 7 – 8 years if not clipped or pruned 5m x 5m
