Originating from North Africa
Tufts of fine foliage and cream feathery plumes from mid-summer through autumn, becoming purple as the season progresses. Initially the flower stems are short and fluffy but elongate and arch gracefully.
Grow in moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Mulch in winter. Cut back old foliage in spring.
