One of the ultimate jungly, lush, exotic ground covering plants, perfect for bringing a tropical look to the lower levels of planting schemes. Forming dense and bushy spreading clumps of gracefully arching foliage, looking like a giant leaved bamboo from a distance. Fascinating when viewed close up too, its elegantly pleated leaves are covered in tiny hairs and have the appearance of juvenile palm leaves. Perfect for planting out as bedding for the summer or growing in pots, it must be returned to a frost free conservatory or greenhouse for winter. Grow in any soil in full sun or part shade.
