Salvia ‘Amistad’ Pink is a new variety of one of our favourite perennials, now available in deliciously deep pink as well as dusky blue! Cerise tubular flowers emerge as magenta buds from dusky olive green sepals, borne in elegant ranks and held with graceful poise on tall, stout upright stems. They have a wonderfully complex structure with extended upper and lower lips. This incredibly exotic display lasts from early summer until the frosts, and its importance for late season colour cannot be overstated. The bushy bright green aromatic foliage and its reliable, strong-growing nature are further bonuses. Plant in any free draining soil in full sun or in pots.
