Family Asparagaceae
Originating from S. USA
Truly a blockbuster amongst Yuccas, this is a mutation of one of our hardiest and most frequently planted species in the UK. This form has exceptionally dense, broad, and ridged leaves with a strong silver colour. It will branch after flowering, quickly forming a multi-headed plant. The 1m tall inflorescences (branching structures bearing numerous flowers) are frequently borne with many large pure white bell-shaped blooms.
A tough and easy to grow plant tolerating most soil types, but preferring poor well drained full sun positions.
Height and spread after 15 years 1.5m x 1.5m.
