Cortaderia fulvida, 10L plants
Family Poaceae
Originating from New Zealand
Our Cortaderia fulvida 10L plants, semi mature when planted, will quickly form a dense evergreen tussock of narrow leaves, typical of the common Pampas grass, but with a more diminutive stature . Suitable for the back of the border but also handsome enough as a specimen plant.
Its 3m tall gracefully arching stems bear creamy/silver flowering panicles. A much more elegant plant than the more commonly seen Pampas Cortaderia sellowiana.
Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Will tolerate poor soil once established.
Eventual mature plant size :
Height 3m
Spread 2m
