Coreopsis ‘Ladybird’, 3L plants
Family Asteraceae
Originating from eastern USA
Coreopsis ‘Ladybird’ is an incendiary and irrepressibly brilliant perennial. Floriferous and compact, the copious daisy-like flowers of this amazing variety are a velvety, intensely deep smouldering red like few other low growing mound shaped species. Set your planting schemes ablaze with repeated clumps of this long lasting late flowering variety, nestling amongst taller growing species, spilling over planters or rockeries. The beautiful petals surround a central dark burgundy cluster of stamens with yellow pollen covered tips and have fiery golden markings at their outer edges. Easy to grow in any free draining soil in full sun or light shade.
Height and spread after 2 – 5 years 50cm x 50cm
