Originating in a garden in Cambridge in the early 1980s belonging to Nora Barlow (Charles Darwin?s granddaughter) but has since hybridized naturally.
Clump-forming herbaceous perennial with long stalks and nodding violet-blue double
pom-pom flowers in late spring and early summer. Deadhead to encourage more flowers.
Grow in moist but well-drained soil in full sun/part shade.
