Originating from Japan
Clouds of soft billowing foliage with a fine and fuzzy form, make a dense, rounded large evergreen shrub with an exceptional textural quality. In autumn the foliage turns varying shades of soft purple adding further to its undulating cloud-like character. Perfect as a contrasting backdrop to more architectural plants, or as a centrepiece if pruned or trimmed into topiary forms, in oriental and contemporary gardens, it responds well to all types of pruning.
Adaptable and easy to grow in any soil type and coastal exposure.
