Bringing powerful fiery colour to lower parts of planting schemes is not easy, especially with evergreen foliage, but this form of Heavenly Bamboo does just that in some style. Its compact mounds of undulating, wavy textured, and handsomely pointed foliage turn bright red in late summer and early autumn and its soft rounded shape looks great amongst more upright plants. Dainty white flowers appear in the summer months followed by red berries to add yet further character to this tough and easy-to-grow variety. Happy in most soil types in full sun or light shade.
