A flamboyant, dazzling display of flowers for many months, from spring to late autumn, borne on a small compact shrub with aromatic branches and leaves. The wonderfully showy red and white blooms are complimented in a very classy way by the dark purple/black mature stems, counterbalancing the loudness of the petals perfectly. Evergreen in mild winters, it can be cut back hard in spring before the new growth appears to keep it compact. Perfect in Mediterranean or traditional English gardens and great in pots. It is easy to grow in any well drained soil in full sun, and great in coastal climates.
