Originating from the Mediterranean.
Pale and bright in strong sunlight, stylishly deep and glowing in mellow light, its cheerful soft colour makes the perfect compliment to darker, richly coloured flowers and foliage. Its low undulating carpet of dense grey/green evergreen leaves is nearly obscured by the profuse display of delicate, light pink, blooms, flushed with deeper pink at the base of the petals, from late spring into early summer. Perfect for ground covering around taller, upright plants, it is ideal for rockeries and draping over pots. Undemanding in all but the heaviest wet or very acidic soils in full sun.
