Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Abbotsbury Gold’, 3L plants
Family Pittosporaceae
Originating from New Zealand
Vigorous, compact, evergreen shrub with undulating, shimmering, bright green and golden glossy leaves. Produces small purple/brown flowers in summer. Although these flowers look insignificant, their honey fragrance fills the evening air.
‘Abbotsbury Gold’ is suitable for topiary and can be pruned into hedges or small architectural tree forms, where its spectacular foliage can take centre-stage. Hardy in southern and coastal regions it may require protection inland and in northern locations during harsh winters.
Our Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Abbotsbury Gold’ plants in 3L pots will thrive in most soil conditions, preferring lighter well drained conditions in sun or part shade.
