Originating from New Zealand
Evergreen shrub with a compact, mound-forming habit. Oval, glossy, grey-green leaves that are creamy-white at the margins, the entire leaf turning maroon by winter. Small, fragrant, purple-brown flowers in late spring and early summer are followed by dark grey seed capsules.
Grow in moist but well-drained soils in sun or part shade.
Height and spread after 2 – 3 years 50cm x 50cm
Semi mature height and spread after 4 – 5 years if not clipped or pruned 1m x 1m
