An outstanding strong growing architectural evergreen shrub or small tree, forming a dense crown of small, bright grey/green leaves with irregularly undulating edges. This abundant and frothy, delicate looking foliage display is borne on black stems, making a striking contrast with the leaves and a very classy-looking plant. It is very receptive to shaping and even topiary. During spring and summer the honey-like scent of its tiny black/dusky purple flowers can be enjoyed wafting some distance from the plant.

Easy to grow in any soil type in full sun or part shade.

Height and spread in 10 – 15 years 6m x 5m.
