An upright, suckering deciduous shrub or small tree. Finely dissected, lime green leaves emerge on velvety rosy/pink stems in spring. These leaves turn bright yellow in summer followed by shades of orange and red in autumn. An exotic-looking but very hardy little tree. May be invasive, spreading by suckers but not as aggressively as the species.
