Designer cool, rarified, and architectural, this tall, upright herbaceous variety has handsome pointed foliage and makes a striking statement, adding a new dimension to the Cone Flower family. Its protruding central dome of disc florets forms a dark brooding purple-coloured cone of tightly packed buds, opening from the bottom upwards, to reveal their inner golden-yellow colour. This firework-like display crowns the stunning star-shaped pointed short green petals. Such a chic colour scheme lends itself to contemporary, as well as prairie and traditional English gardens. Easy to grow in any free-draining soil in full sun.
