Family Fabaceae
Originating from Chile

A small deciduous tree that flowers profusely on bare arching branches in spring, providing welcome nectar for bees. Feathery leaves comprising tiny, fresh green leaflets create a soft-textured, open airy tree that casts light shade.
Grow in moist but well-drained soil in full sun or part shade. Will tolerate poor dry soil once established.

Semi mature height and spread after 6 – 7 years if not pruned 3.5m x 2m
